The 47 year-old singer, who was rumoured to have underwent a cataract surgery last month (Oct 26), turned up in sunglasses and dull colours while Yapeng and Li Yan sported colourful windbreakers and the organisation’s T-shirt.
pair appeared close and were seen giving each other hugs and running together.
Although there are no family pictures of the trio, fans were pleasantly surprised to see the divorced couple attending the charity run together after they split in 2013.
The ex-couple founded the Beijing-based charity organisation to help Chinese children born with cleft lips in 2006, after Li Yan underwent corrective surgery for severe cleft lip. In the 10 years of its operation, the organisation has paid the corrective surgeries for 11,560 children with the help of their donors, a team of 681 medical personnel and more than 1,000 volunteers.
Faye has another daughter, Leah Dou, from her first marriage with musician Dou Wei, and she is currently in a relationship with Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse.
