Chuckling that they have a “new member” who joined them on stage – Ella Chen’s unborn child – the soon-to-be-mother added that her bun in the oven has traversed the globe with her, traveling to Japan, Milan and more even before being born.
They also talked about Ella’s recent single, Me vs. Me, lamenting that it was a pity that she was unable to perform the vigorous dance routine because of her pregnancy. Selina Jen then reminded her not to forget the choreography and joked that she expected her to make a comeback half a year after giving birth and that Ella should perform the dance live for the first time immediately after giving birth while wearing her maternity dress.
Ella confessed that she spent three days learning the dance but put in extra hours to make it come more naturally. She unexpectedly found out she was pregnant and therefore has yet to get the opportunity to showcase the full performance to her fans but assured herself that this was the heavens’ way to give her a good rest after working hard in the past few years.
Pointing out that Ella’s unborn child is “more energetic” than its mother, they then revealed that its nickname is ‘bundle of energy’. Continuing that this was the first time this nickname was made known to anyone, Ella grinned that she was alright with letting her fans know this first-hand.
Ella announced her pregnancy in October after tying the knot with Alvin Lai in 2012. This will be her first child.
