Sir Tom Jones' wife is the "most important" thing in his life.
The 'Sex Bomb' hitmaker has had a number of dalliances with other woman during his five decades in the music business but he insists Melinda Trenchard - nicknamed Linda - is an "unbelievable woman".
He said: "She is an unbelievable woman. She's the most important thing in my life. All the rest is fun and games."
The 75-year-old singer also believes marrying Linda and getting her pregnant - when the pair were just 16-years-old - gave him "more strength".
He added: "It gave me more strength. I don't know what it would have been life if I had been a single teenager, but I saw a lot of them not taking life very seriously.
"They were flippant; they didn't give a f**k, the ones I hung out with anyway. I had more on my mind, I had to hold down my job at the paper mill because of my wife and son."
And when the world - Linda included - found out about his affair with Miss World Marjorie Wallace, Tom remembers being "punched" by his wife.
He recalled to The Sunday Times magazine: "I stood there and took it. She chinned me. When she let fly, Dai [his bodyguard at the time] just left. I said, 'Go ahead.' She punched and shouted."
