Super Junior fans might have to steel their hearts for this piece of news: the group’s youngest members, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun, are reportedly slated to enlist in the military next year.
Siwon, who is receiving rave reviews for his portrayal of the eccentric feature magazine editor in the currently-airing drama She Was Pretty, was interviewed on TV programme Entertainment Weekly, where he revealed the group’s enlistment plans.
He is slated to enlist this year on November 19 together with TVXQ!’s Changmin. Earlier this month, group mates Eunhyuk and Donghae enlisted for their services on October 13 and 15 respectively.
The older members of the group, Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung and Kangin have completed their mandatory military duties. Shindong and Sungmin are currently serving the army after enlisting earlier this year. Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are the last two members who have yet to do so.
Most active duty stints, which Eunhyuk and Donghae most recently enlisted for, take an average of one year and nine months to complete.
