GOT7’s Jackson wants to live in Singapore

It’s 7pm on a Thursday night, and City Square Mall seems to have erupted in screams. Korean boyband GOT7, who last visited our shores less than six months ago, is back for their first solo concert and open press conference in Singapore, and IGOT7s (name of their official fanclub) were out in full force to show their support.

The resounding yells and chants of GOT7 and the names of the seven members who make up the group – Mark, 22, JB, 22, Jackson, 22, Junior, 21, Youngjae, 19, BamBam 19, and Yugyeom, 18, did not cease throughout the 30 minute press conference, at times overwhelming the group’s voices.

However, despite everything, the group’s love for their fans and Singapore were evident.

When asked about their thoughts on finally being able to hold their first solo concert in Singapore, Youngjae revealed that he was “very happy” to be able to have GOT7’s first solo concert in Singapore, and that he hoped to be able to visit Singapore more often next time.

BamBam then declared, “I want to vacation here next time,” seemingly enamoured by the charms of Singapore, with Jackson immediately adding that he “want[s] to live in Singapore”.

Judging from the delighted squeals from the crowd, we’d say that the members of GOT7 are more than welcome to visit again.
