Ella, who is five months pregnant, turned up at the concert in in a loose-fitting outfit paired with a pair of booties. When asked about the absence of her husband, Alvin Lai, she explained that he was away on a business trip.
She continued, “Thank you everyone for coming to support the superstar of our hometown, I’m also here to feel the love.”
The 35-year-old then posed for some pictures at the photo wall with film producer Chiu Li-Kwan, whom Ella said had called her in the wee hours of the morning to ask her for tickets to the concert.
“I didn’t know there were things Li-Kwan couldn’t do,” the singer joked.
The photo-taking session promptly ended when a photographer knocked over a flower stand, causing it to fall, almost hitting Ella.
The singer is taking a break from work temporarily to prepare for the arrival of her baby boy.
