Annie Yi’s short and sweet reply to a hater

Although Taiwanese singer Annie Yi has already cleared the air regarding the “bad behaviour” of her husband, Chinese actor Qin Hao on reality show Super Mom, criticisms surrounding the couple are still coming in fast and furious.

This time round, netizens took offence at the fact that Qin Hao let Annie, whose eyes were swollen, visit the doctors on her own. One netizen even commented, “Qin Hao is more chauvinistic, while you’re the type that needs to be pampered. I feel that [Taiwanese singer] Harlem Yu [Annie's ex-husband] suits you more, but since things have already progressed to the point of no return, I wish you happiness [in your new marriage].”

The 48-year-old later replied the netizen with a short and simple, “Your feelings have nothing to do with me,” before going on to praise the netizen’s imagination for simply thinking of themselves as ‘Annie.’

Annie also went on to defend her husband and family again. “I will not allow edited clips to mislead the audience into misunderstanding my family. Regardless of whether [the behaviour of] my family, or my children is being distorted, I will speak up no matter what! When it concerns the ones I love, I am tough. It doesn’t matter if you love to watch the programme or not, I will not allow a show to harm the sincerity of my husband and children! This is my life, I’ll do as I please, I’m that reckless,” she wrote, addressing the numerous complaints once and for all.

Annie tied the knot with Qin Hao in March 2015 and gave birth to her daughter, Milly Qin, nicknamed Little Rice Grain, in June 2016.

She was married to Harlem Yu for nine years before going separate ways in 2009. They have a son, Harrison Yu, 15, together.
