Taiwan celebrated Father’s Day last Saturday, with Taiwanese Mandopop
singer Jay Chou posting his well wishes as well as an oil painting on
Facebook to celebrate the occasion.
The
father-of-one wrote, “Wishing everyone a happy Father’s Day. [My]
Father’s Day present.” The oil painting, which does not seem to have a
clear subject, generated loads of discussion amongst his fans.
Some
of them commented that Jay’s daughter, one-year-old Hathaway, is not
old enough to be able to paint, and wondered if Jay or his wife,
Taiwanese model-actress Hannah Quinlivan, had bought it.
Netizens also spotted a little infant on the bottom right corner of
the painting, causing some of them to suspect that the painting was
Jay’s hint that there will be a new addition to their family-of-three
soon.
