Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan have been spotted on numerous occasions
in Japan recently, sparking rumours that the star requested for a
week’s leave to be able to spend three very special occasions: Father’s
Day, Chinese Valentine’s Day and Hannah’s birthday, with her.
Father’s Day is celebrated on August 8 in Taiwan as the pronunciation of the number eight (ba) is very similar to that of the Chinese word for father (baba). Chinese Valentine’s Day falls on August 9 this year, whereas Hannah will turn 23 on August 12.
The
pair has become increasingly open with their relationship after getting
married and has been spotted by many eagle-eyed netizens out and about
in various countries. He also updated his Facebook with an inverted
picture of an old married couple with the caption “Wishing everyone a
happy Chinese Valentine’s Day. I hope you will grow old together with
your other half and let happiness become the trend!”
The pair was most recently spotted in Tokyo, with Hannah dressed
casually for the summer and Jay opting to disguise himself with his
signature face mask and beanie. Netizens remarked that even all bundled
up, the pair exuded an aura that enabled them to spot the couple from
afar.
Jay uploaded a snap earlier this month which was suspected
to be an ultrasound, which led many to speculate that baby number two
was on the way. He quickly dismissed the rumours, sharing that the
picture was an oil painting and that the post was not intended to convey
a hidden message.
