Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen’s work ethics were praised by the
production crew of her latest advertisement for a makeup brand.
The
actress was scheduled to shoot for the advertisement in early July,
only for Typhoon Nepartak to hit Taiwan on the day of the indoor shoot.
However,
the 33-year-old, who was four months pregnant at that time, did not
request to postpone the shoot, opting to continue on instead.
The production crew also praised Michelle’s looks, commenting that
she now looks like Korean actress Song Jihyo from certain angles, after
getting pregnant.
During the shoot, Michelle also took a number of
measures to ensure the health of her unborn baby. The production crew
had originally planned to have three industrial fans aimed at Michelle
during the shoot, to get a ‘windblown’ effect.
But Michelle was
afraid of catching a cold and endangering her baby. Thus, she requested
for the fans to be removed, opting to have an assistant manually create
the effect instead.
She also decided to not use the second floor of the studio, which is
normally reserved for the artiste alone, as she wanted to refrain from
climbing too much stairs, which could be harmful to the baby too.
Finally,
the actress is said to be sticking to a strictly curated diet that
consists of red dragonfruit and pineapple, amongst other things, to
ensure the best for her unborn child.
Michelle and Chinese actor Chen Xiao tied the knot last month, after meeting on the set of romance drama The Return of The Condor Heroes.
