Former EXO member Luhan filed to nullify his contract with label S.M. Entertainment on October 10. Former band mate Wu Yi Fan (Kris) did the same earlier this May.
After his departure from the group, Yi Fan worked with actress-director Xu Jinglei on romantic film Somewhere Only We Know, where he will romance popular Chinese actress Wang Likun.

than a week after the news of Luhan’s departure was announced, Hong
Kong news agencies have declared that he is in talks to star alongside
Yang Mi in upcoming drama Zhu Xian.
In a report published
by Chinese media outlet Sina, Luhan’s four reasons for wanting to leave
S.M. include health problems resulting from over-exhaustion, an
unreasonable allocation of resources, discrimination in terms of
treatment between Korean and Chinese members within EXO, and that the
label was unable to provide a good future for him.
Luhan has since returned to his hometown Beijing.
