BOYS24 Extends Application Deadline Due to Overwhelming Response

If you think you have what it takes to be a part of CJ E&M′s mega K-Pop project BOYS24 but are feeling pressed for time, you′re in luck!

The deadline to submit applications for BOYS24 has been extended to March 11.

Applications have been flooding in since recruitment began on January 18, from former trainees at major agencies like YG, JYP, SM, Woollim, Jellyfish, Mystic, Loen, DSP and Yuehua Entertainment in China to audition program participants and even former idols as well as current musical, theater and movie actors.

Since global recruitment began, the project has also drawn applicants from all over the world, including China, Japan, Indonesia and the U.S.

BOYS24 is a 25 billion won mega K-Pop project being co-produced by CJ E&M′s Music Business Unit and Liveworks Company.

Following two rounds of auditions, the applicants who pass will receive professional training and various missions before the final 24 are selected to receive rigorous dance and vocal training as well as foreign language lessons.

The 24 male idol hopefuls will then present live shows every day for an entire year, similar to the daily showings of Broadway performances, at the Mesa Building Popcorn Hall in Myeongdong beginning in August.
