At the premiere of "Phantom of the Theatre", Ruby Lin showed up as the
producer and leading actress together with its leading actor Tony Yang.
While Tony wore a Burberry suit to walk on the red carpet, Ruby put on a
NT$620000 Valentino lace gown and NT$39650000 Cartier jewelry.
Previously they had collaborated in another ghost movie "The House that
Never Dies", in which Ruby had filmed in a coffin amidst a ruin without
an amulet and later had a headache. She was advised by a monk that she
might have encountered some "things" and that she needed to visit a
temple. This time she knew it when filming "Phantom" and had Buddhist
bibles in her room in addition to carrying an amulet. Tony was a
Christian but he had not carried a cross during the filming process. He
said they had been surrounded by people and everybody had fun there.
However, he revealed that he did not dare to watch ghost movies since he
got scared by "The Ring".
