Last weekend, she posted a picture of her seemingly hanging off a cliff-edge, shocking a large number of her fans.
In her Facebook update, she posted a picture of her standing on a cliff with open arms, while another picture showed her hanging off the edge of the cliff, with nothing but the blue sea below her. As it looked like she would fall to her death if she were to let go, her fans immediately left comments asking the 34-year-old to be safe.
Selina also cheekily captioned her pictures with a “[I’ve] used up all my mystical powers,” a nod to Chinese swimmer Fu Yuanhui, who became an internet sensation after her quirky interviews went viral.
Later, it was found that Selina had taken her pictures at a well-known tourist destination – Brazil’s Pedra do Telégrafo. This area is known to be a tourist magnet and gives visitors a photo opportunity to stand on a short plateau a few feet from the cliff-edge to look like they are hanging on for dear life in their pictures with some angling and cropping.
