Ariel Lin hopes for a child in the next 2 years

Ariel Lin has revealed her hope to have a child in the next two years. Speaking to the media at the promotional event for her new movie My Egg Boy, she and co-star Rhydian Vaughan spoke about their respective marriages and baby plans.

In the movie, Ariel’s character breaks up with her boyfriend after placing more importance on her job. In real life, the 33-year-old only meets up with her husband once every few months because of their work. When asked if she worries about their relationship due to the physical distance between them, she mused, “If both parties are willing to work on (our relationship), there’s nothing that is too difficult for us to overcome.”

She tied the knot with businessman Charles Lin in December 2014 but has yet to go on honeymoon with him as the pair is too busy. Sharing that she aims to fulfill both parties’ parents’ wishes of welcoming a grandchild to the family soon, she hopes to have a child within the next two years. She declared that her dream honeymoon is “to go on a cruise and have a long break”.

Ariel shared that she pays special attention to her health, especially since she went through a brain surgery to remove a tumour on her pituitary gland in 2009.

Rhydian, who is newly married, revealed that he too, hasn’t had the time to bring his wife on honeymoon and remarked that he feels that having it in Taiwan is a good idea. “Taiwanese should get to know Taiwan better; we can join a group tour and experience our country like a tourst.”

He has an eight-month-old son, nicknamed Xiao Mu Er, and shared that he rarely cries, and would wail for three to four seconds before stopping. He chuckled that he “finds it strange that my son isn’t like all the other kids” who cry much more.
