On the September 29 episode of Mnet′s M COUNTDOWN, Red Velvet′s Russian Roulette and Infinite′s The Eye competed for 1st place for September′s last week.
Before the winner was announced, Red Velvet stated, "For the encore stage, we will dance an elegant ostrich group dance," and Infinite promised, "Dong Woo will freestyle dance in the introduction."
After the completion of all the performances, Infinite needed to fulfill their promise as they have won 1st place for the first time with new track The Eye. Infinite thanked their supporters by saying, "We thank our fans and agency. It′s been a long time since we made a comeback and we are happy to have won 1st place."
Dongwoo, whose father passed away recently, especially received attention after saying, "I want to thank my father who recently went to heaven."
