Karen Mok receives a ring from her husband every anniversary

Karen Mok showed up at the opening of a brand’s store in jewels worth HK$170 million (S$30 million). She joked that this is the first time she wore jewelry that cost the equivalent of a luxurious house.

She revealed that her husband gifts her with a ring every wedding anniversary, and she might need more fingers and toes for the rings in the future.

Karen shared that she is not a collector of expensive jewelry but that her mother and grandmother had left some for her, which she is intending to donate to charity in future since she does not plan to have children. She explained that she will be happy to give away these gifts of love and see the smiles of those in need.

As it was late Leslie Cheung’s 60th birthday on the day of the event, Karen said she had a lot of different memories about him and was reminded of him often by many places and things. She said Leslie was a person who always helped his juniors, and that she had learned a lot from him.
