MC Heechul and MC Hani are leaving the show due to the return of Jeong Hyeong Dong, who left the show due to health reasons last year.Heechul and Hani showed their great chemistry as a team and have been a huge presence on the show. At times, they took care of the guest idols as their hoobaes and at times would try their best to bring laughter to the viewers. Defconn also could not hide his sadness as he said his good byes to Heechul and Hani.
Hani left a message of support by saying, "I am happy that Hyeong Dong oppa is coming back and I am thankful that I met many friends through ′Weekly Idol.′" Hee Chul added, "Hyeong Dong hyung, don′t be sick anymore and I hope that you can firmly lead ′Weekly Idol.′"
Heechul and Hani′s final MBC Weekly Idol episode will air on September 28 at 6PM KST.
