Recently, a netizen revealed on social media that The Legend of Miyue <芈月传> star Sun Li (孙俪) has a younger half-sister Sun Yan
(孙艳), with whom she shares the same father. In an interview conducted
on the 26th, Sun Li openly admitted to this fact, and that she is close
to her half-sister.
The news of a younger half-sister has led
to some gossip about Sun Li’s stepmother being an adulteress, but the
33-year-old actress clarified that her father and stepmother did not get
married until after her own parents divorced. She called for the media
to stop creating assumptions about her family.
Nonetheless, Sun Li said she had hated
her father for a while. Her parents separated when she was only 12 years
old, and her mother received only 2,000 RMB in alimony after their
