Taiwanese singer-actor Nicky Wu appeared on the talkshow, Small Swallow Xiaoyan Night recently to promote his newest drama.
As
the 45-year-old’s wife, Chinese actress Cecilia Liu had flown to Taiwan
with him for this trip, talkshow host Chang Hsiao-yen pulled out a
special surprise for him. Nicky was invited to sit on a special
‘Pregnancy Sofa’ specially prepared for him, with Hsiao-yen grilling him
on his plans to start a family.
The singer-actor did not hesitate
when asked if he had thought of starting a family, and replied, “Yes
[I’ve thought of doing so] and Cecilia really likes children as well.”
At one point, Nicky even laughed and said, “If I had not filmed for Scarlet Heart
back then, I don’t know who I’ll end up together with! [Who knows], I
might just end up with Wallace Huo.” He also shared that he will be
attending Wallace’s wedding in Bali, Indonesia later this month with Cecilia.
Nicky
also revealed that he rarely quarrels with Cecilia, “due to our
[easygoing] personalities”. He also nodded quietly when Hsiao-yen asked
if they don’t argue because he always listens to Cecilia.
When
Hsiao-yen asked if Nicky had brought Cecilia to Taiwan in order to work
on their plans to start a family, Nicky chuckled and chided Hsiao-yen,
telling her to “stop trying to dig out more information.”
