Cantopop singer Eason Chan held his ‘Another Eason’s LIFE’ concert in
Shenzhen, China, with Chinese singer Li Ronghao as a special guest
performer last Sunday.
The
duo first worked together in November last year at the ‘Double 11
Festival’ where they performed a mix of Eason and Ronghao’s songs.
This
time, when Eason invited Ronghao to be a guest performer at his
Shenzhen concert, Ronghao immediately agreed. The 31-year-old had just
finished his ‘AN IDEAL WORLD’ concert in Qingdao, China on Saturday, but
immediately flew over to Shenzhen after that for Eason’s concert.
As Eason rarely invites guest performers to his concerts, his fans erupted in applause once Ronghao’s name was announced.
While the duo did not converse during their time on stage, they did
sing Ronghao’s ‘Actors and Singers’ together, bringing back memories of
their last performance together.
After the concert, Ronghao updated his Weibo and shared more about the experience, calling it a dream come true.
“[My]
second time collaborating with Eason, I really feel very honoured. This
time round, our performance was even more comfortable. We’ve always
wanted to perform ‘Actors and Singers’ together, so I guess I’ve managed
to successfully fulfil one of my personal wishes [with this
performance],” he wrote, gushing about the experience.
