Chris Evans set to star in Jekyll

According to Deadline, the 35-year-old actor - most famous for playing Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - is up for the role of Tom Jackman in the movie which is being made by Lionsgate and is based on the 2007 BBC TV series which starred James Nesbitt as the character.

In the show, Jackman is a modern descendent of Dr. Jekyll who begins to develop a split personality and steadily transforms into a version of Mr. Hyde.

The fictional scientist Dr. Jekyll was created by writer Robert Louis Stevenson in his 19th century novella 'Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' and in the story he invents a serum that turns him into a depraved and hideous man known as Mr. Hyde.

Lionsgate's 'Jekyll' is being produced by Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman through their A Very Good Production company.

Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry are responsible for penning the script basing it on the six episodes written by 'Doctor Who' showrunner and 'Sherlock' co-creator Steven Moffat.

A director is yet to be attached to the film.

Stevenson's horror tale is proving popular at the moment as Russell Crowe is also set to play the dual personality of Jekyll and Hyde in Universal's reboot of 'The Mummy', in which he will appear opposite Tom Cruise.

Darren Wang denies rumour of clashing with Our Times director

Taiwanese actor Darren Wang is reportedly displeased that Our Times director Frankie Chen is interested in signing Taiwanese singer-actress Yao Yao to her company.

Darren rose to fame through the movie Our Times, which was directed by Frankie. After the movie gained popularity worldwide, Darren left his previous company to join Frankie’s Spring Thunder Entertainment, in a bid to expand into the Chinese market. At that time, Frankie was said to have promised Darren that she will “focus on developing only him.”

However, Spring Thunder Entertainment is said to have reached out to Yao Yao recently with the intention to sign her. The company also invited her to work together with them for its upcoming movie.

As a result, Darren is said to be displeased as he feels that he has been fooled by the company’s false promises. Additionally, Darren’s personal manager is said to have helped in the preparations for Yao Yao’s new book, adding fuel to the fire.

However, when asked to comment on the matter, Darren said through his manager, “There’s nothing that I’m unhappy with. Right now, I’m concentrating on filming.” The actor is currently filming in Hebei, China for his new project.

Workers at Spring Thunder Entertainment have confirmed that they did have a discussion with Yao Yao regarding their collaboration for the upcoming movie. However, they denied that Frankie once told Darren that she will only focus on him, and emphasised that Darren and Yao Yao are from different companies.

Yao Yao’s management company also expressed that they were kept in the dark regarding Yao Yao’s discussions with Spring Thunder Entertainment. However, they confirmed that everything is still proceeding as per normal on their side.

Lin Chiling, Jerry Yan responds to Edison Chen’s tirade

After Hong Kong singer-actor’s Edison Chen’s unexpected Weibo tirade against Lin Chiling yesterday, the Weibo community started speculating about the reason behind the outburst. The 35-year-old has not given a reason behind his outburst, and would only say that he “had warned her [Chiling]”, and that “all truths reveal themselves”.

It was then reported that Edison’s rumoured girlfriend, Chinese model Shu Peiqin and her close friend Chinese model-actress Sui He, had met Chiling through a fashion-related programme titled Fashion Star.

However, Sui He was said to have displayed diva-like behaviour on the show, with her manager even picking a fight with the fashion designers. The model-actress’s bad attitude was said to have been even more apparent in comparison with Chiling’s friendly attitude.

After that, Sui He was said to have vented her frustrations to Peiqin, who was originally slated to become the host of the programme. However, Peiqin was dropped from the show at the last minute, causing her to then complain to her rumoured boyfriend, Edison, who made his anger public on Weibo.

However, the production crew of Fashion Star stated that Peiqin was never slated to be part of the show, and that while Chiling had been in talks to join the show for a few months, she only agreed towards the end. They also confirmed that Sui He had also joined the show recently, and is getting along with everyone.

They also posted a picture of Chiling with Sui He on their Weibo, denying that there was bad blood between the two. When asked to comment on the matter, Sui He also denied being on bad terms with Chiling.

Chiling also updated her Weibo this morning, writing, “Every day, I hope to be able to live properly, and be happy. Happiness is not just a personality, but a form of strength.” She then continued on to extol the virtues of a forgiving and magnanimous attitude, showing that she was not affected by Edison’s rant.

Edison still remained unapologetic, and even uploaded a picture of him showing his middle finger on Facebook.

When asked to comment on the matter, Chiling’s ex-beau, Taiwanese singer-actor Jerry Yan also said through his company, “Chiling is a kind and filial woman; this must be because of a misunderstanding.”

Alex Fong rumoured to have moved on from Stephy Tang

Hong Kong singer-actor, Alex Fong announced that he had broken up with his girlfriend of 10 years, Hong Kong singer-actress Stephy Tang in March this year, shocking fans of the long-time couple.

Alex had initially seemed to be still hung up over their relationship, even breaking down in tears when quizzed about their breakup. However, he seems to have moved on, with rumours alleging that he is currently in a relationship with his labelmate, Chloe, a member of the Cantopop group As One.

Chloe will be featuring as the female lead in Alex’s new music video, and it is said that the 36-year-old has taken a fancy to her.

Alex is said to have requested for Chloe to star in his music video, and even took on the role of director in order to have more opportunities to interact with her. The music video, which was supposed to be for an anti-smoking song, is said to have a romantic theme, with a heavy focus on the kiss scenes.

It was also reported that Chloe has always been a fan of Alex, even revealing her wish to star in his music video during a past interview.

Tiffany: I feel weird eating chili crab without SNSD

Tiffany Hwang, a Korean-American member of K-Pop girl group SNSD (Girls’ Generation), was in town recently to view jewellery brand PANDORA's latest collection.

In a doorstop interview conducted at the event, Tiffany was all smiles and answered questions in fluent English.

SNSD will be celebrating their ninth anniversary next week, and Tiffany's close relationship with the rest of the members was clearly on show yesterday.

With a special anniversary song for their fans set to be released next week, the 26-year-old remained tight-lipped when asked about the song.

“I’d want you guys to listen to the whole thing, it’s our gift for you guys. It’s really an amazing song," she answered, but not before revealing that fellow member Sooyoung had written the lyrics with SONEs (the group's official fan name) in mind.

Tiffany herself is no stranger to the art of song-writing, having written the lyrics for a song in her solo album, I Just Wanna Dance, which was released in May this year. However, she remained modest about the progress in her solo career so far, despite having held a series of mini-concerts last month.

“I don’t feel like I’ve succeeded, I feel like I’ve just started my first step into this journey,” she mused.

Although her visit this time round was admittedly short, the singer still found time to indulge in our local delicacies.

An avid Snapchat user, Tiffany constantly shared little snippets of her trip to Singapore on the app, from her magazine shoots to having a dip in the pool and over-indulging in chili crab.

“I was eating chilli crab without my members last night, and I feel so weird eating it without them. Hopefully we’ll get to come back here for a concert." she divulged.

When asked if she missed her members, Tiffany immediately answered , "Yes! We were just texting, and I was cracking up in the car.”

Finally, when quizzed about the lyrics of her latest song, ‘Heartbreak Hotel’, a song about the end of a relationship, Tiffany revealed, “I think everybody has a bad boy fantasy, so I hope everybody enjoys ‘Heartbreak Hotel’.

Are Cecilia Liu & Nicky Wu preparing to have children?

Celebrity couple Cecilia Liu and Nicky Wu have been rumoured to be preparing to start a family next year.

The lovebirds, who have fallen victim to their busy work schedules ever since tying the knot earlier this year, were spotted getting a checkup at a hospital in Taiwan recently.

Nicky was in Taiwan earlier this month to promote his latest drama The Legend of Zu Mountain, while Cecilia arrived in Taiwan a few days later.

In an attempt to keep the news of their hospital visit private, the hospital was said to have arranged a special resting lounge for the duo. The management also sent out a company-wide announcement in the morning, requesting for all hospital staff to refrain from asking the couple for pictures or autographs. They were also cautioned against making known the fact that the pair was visiting.

According to the reports, the couple underwent a urine analysis, a blood test, and ultrasound scans, amongst other tests. The checkup was said to cost a total of NT$100,000 (approximately S$4233).

Nicky had previously revealed that they were open to the idea of starting a family. However, when asked to comment on the matter, the couple’s manager stressed that the couple had merely gone for a routine health check-up and that it was not related to baby-making plans.

Eric Nam Reveals His Top Beauty Secrets In Interview With Refinery29

Solo singer Eric Nam recently sat down with popular American fashion and beauty website Refinery29 to share his male beauty secrets with fans all over the world.

In addition to his work as a top singer and host in Korea, Eric Nam has also become known for his amazing complexion and clear skin. In fact, to learn more about how he maintains such fair skin with his busy career, Refinery29 invited him for to an interview, where he shared his daily routine and discussed the difference between male beauty in South Korea compared to the United States.

Here are just some of the interview questions and answers:

How much has your appearance changed since you’ve moved to South Korea?
“When I go back to the States, one of the comments I get the most often is, ‘Oh, you dyed your hair?’ Yes, I’ve been dyeing my hair since I got to Korea [four years ago]. Korea is a very fashion- and beauty-forward country, so [hair and makeup] is not a taboo topic. It’s just like, ‘Oh, cool, it’s a new style.’ There’s not that stigma or stereotyping that comes when [men] take good care of [their] hair or skin.”

What was your first reaction to wearing a full face of makeup?
“You know, it was really weird because you look like the movie version of yourself. I definitely looked a lot sharper and a lot cleaner. In person, it was kind of weird.”

What have you learned from this focus on your skin?
“You know, as a college student, skin care isn’t cheap and it’s not your biggest priority. But I’ve realized how important it can be for first impressions. When you’re well put-together, and you have clear skin, it goes a long way. I was interviewing the Star Wars cast, and Daisy Ridley asked me why my skin was so nice. She said, ‘I’m going to call you radiant man, because your skin is so radiant.’ Like, ‘Okay, nice to meet you.'”

Sammy Leung Encourages 4-Month Pregnant Sharon Chan to Have Another Baby

Sharon Chan (陳敏之), Sammy Leung (森美), and more attended a dinner banquet for their variety show Sunday Stage Fight <Sunday好戲王> this past weekend. At an earlier recording for the show, the four-month pregnant Sharon happily proclaimed that her cup size has increased, fully basking in that pregnancy glow.

The 37-year-old, who is known for her long legs, joked about her increasing bust size, saying, “My chest would occasionally hurt, but I’m happy that I finally have a ‘career line’ now! I feel great! I’ll try my best to wear low cut shirts from now! No more legs!”

Due to her pregnancy, Sharon will be taking a hiatus after completing the remaining episodes of Sunday Stage Fight. Nonetheless, the TVB actress has expressed her hope for the show to get renewed for a second series. She hosts the show alongside Sammy Leung.

Sharon said her pregnancy has gotten her to develop a craving for beef. She said, “I am so easily satisfied now. I’ve fallen in love with beef, and sometimes I’d steal some chips to eat and lemon tea to drink. It’s like I’m addicted. It satisfies me even if I only get a little bit!”

Sharon’s co-host Sammy Leung, who has two children, said he hopes to continue his collaboration with Sharon after she gives birth.

“Actually, I take that back,” Sammy said with a smile. “I don’t know if she’ll still be available. She’d probably want to have baby number two right after!”

Sammy actually encourages Sharon to have another child, explaining that it is important to give your child a sibling. “I didn’t want my child to be lonely, so my wife and I decided to have another one.”

The comedian-host ended the interview with a joke, exclaiming that he can now finally witness Sharon transforming into a “see lai” (housewife).

Zhang Ziyi bonds with her stepdaughter

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi recently took part in a photoshoot for a fashion magazine, her first since giving birth late last year.

The actress also posed for a picture together with the crew after the shoot. Ziyi was seen posing with her arms around her stepdaughter Apple Wang in the picture, showing off their close relationship.

Apple’s biological mother, Chinese model Ge Huijie has always been critical of Apple’s father, Chinese singer Wang Feng, and Ziyi. The 29-year-old often takes to her Weibo to lash out at the couple although she declared a ‘ceasefire’ earlier last month.

Recently, it was reported that the model was detained by the police for suspected drug abuse. In response to the news, netizens commented that Apple might be in better hands if she was looked after by Ziyi due to Huijie’s wayward behaviour.

Huijie used to date Wang Feng and gave birth to their daughter in 2005. The couple went separate ways shortly after and Wang Feng raised Apple on his own.

After Wang Feng split from Huijie, he went on to marry Kang Zuoru, who gave birth to his second daughter, Jingyi in 2012. The couple went through a divorce the year after and Ziyi and Wang Feng tied the knot last year after the Chinese rocker proposed at her birthday. The couple welcomed their first child, Xing Xing, in December the same year.

Selena Gomez kills ‘em at sexy Singapore showcase

Wizards of Waverly what? Just like her fellow former Disney darlings Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez has shed her squeaky clean, wholesome image in favour of a sexier, more mature one – a side we got to see up close at the 24-year-old’s Revival Tour gig in Singapore last night.

Although an emotional statement she posted on Instagram last week caused fans to worry that she might cancel the concert again like she did in 2014 (to receive treatment for lupus), the show went on as planned, and the audience made sure to give her an earth-shaking – quite literally – welcome by screaming, jumping and singing along.

After local crooner Gentle Bones opened the show with five original tracks, Selena made her grand entrance to, interestingly, ‘This is What You Came For’ by Calvin Harris a.k.a. her buddy Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend. Conspiracy theories and speculations aside, it didn’t take long for the mosh pit crowd to sprint closer to the stage as the pop princess delved into catchy hits ‘Same Old Love’ and ‘Come and Get It’, before taking energy levels down a notch with the heart-wrenching ‘Sober’.

The sultry ‘Good for You’ and funky ‘Slow Down’ followed after Selena had made a quick outfit change into a low-cut top and skin-tight pleather pants (one of several other fierce, sexy ensembles that showed off her toned bod). The pop princess then finally took some time to speak to her admirers, saying, “Sometimes I want to make sure I can see everyone and say hello – everyone is so nice and so beautiful!”

Long-time Selena devotees (dubbed “Selenators”) were in for a treat when their idol included a few older songs in the set-list, such as ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ and ‘Who Says’, in addition to more recent mega-hits ‘Kill Em With Kindness’ and ‘Hands to Myself’. Selena also mixed things up a bit with a cover of Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)’ and a worship song, which she revealed helps her get through when “I feel I don’t have it in me”.

Something we didn’t quite expect to see happened during one of the videos played between sets: after being shown emerging from a rose petal-filled bathtub and throwing us some come-hither looks, there were a couple of short but substantial shots of Selena in the nude, including a glimpse at her bare backside, which drew excited screams from concertgoers.

While the entire sequence was tastefully done, it certainly marked a very obvious departure from her child star days – not that anyone was complaining, obviously.

Perhaps the only gripe viewers had with the gig was that it was way too short (about an hour and a half) and that it ended abruptly without the expected encore. We also noted the absence of tracks such as ‘The Heart Wants What It Wants’ and ‘Naturally’, but considering all the gushing that’s happening on social media and what we overheard while exiting the venue, we can all agree that Selena definitely killed it.

Moses Chan and Aimee Chan’s Adorable Children Will Make Your Day

Moses Chan (陳豪) and Aimee Chan’s (陳茵媺) children will definitely melt your heart! On Thursday evening, the family of five made an appearance in front of a medical clinic building with their two assistants. Aimee was holding onto three-month-old baby Camilla, while Moses carried 1-year-old Nathan. Their oldest son, 2-year-old Aiden, held onto the hands of their two domestic helpers.

This is the Chans’ first appearance together as a family of five in public. Camilla, their only daughter, was born in April.

Though Moses and Aimee did not respond to any questions, they were in great spirits and greeted the reporters with huge smiles. Moses also gestured Nathan to wave at the reporters. The adorable little Nathan happily waved his hand, and he kept waiving it until he boarded inside their van.

Aiden was much more hyper and kept jumping up and down the steps as he was being led out. Baby Camilla did not cry, and laid comfortably in her mother’s arms. Her cheeks are extremely round and fluffy, resembling her mother.

Just as they were about to leave, a female friend stopped by and greeted the family. During their chat, Moses blocked the entrance of the car door; perhaps he didn’t want his daughter to get too exposed or photographed.

Fala Chen’s Ex Daniel Sit Spotted with New Girlfriend

Unlike her relationship with Dayo Wong (黃子華) in the sold-out stage play Skylight <前度>, Fala Chen (陳法拉) and her ex Daniel Sit (薛世恒) have truly gone their separate ways.

The former TVB star and the Neway heir were rumored to have married in 2008, but this was never confirmed by Fala. In 2013, Fala acknowledged that she had already separated with the 38-year-old Hong Kong businessman, but refused to elaborate on why due to privacy reasons.

While Fala escaped the paparazzi by going to New York to pursue a master’s in acting, Daniel stayed in Hong Kong and remained a hot topic of gossip for the paps. The bachelor was briefly linked with Oceane Zhu (朱璇), and was also rumored to have dated Bernice Liu (廖碧兒), but this was denied by Bernice. Coincidentally, both Oceane and Bernice were Miss Chinese International alumni, like Fala.

But Daniel’s real girlfriend isn’t a Miss Chinese International winner. The paps recently spotted Daniel out with an unfamiliar woman on several occasions. The woman looked to be about 30 years old, with long black hair and gentle, pretty features. The two were seen casually walking in the streets with their hands linked.

The couple were spotted together again in Causeway Bay a few nights ago, but they kept their distance as they walked to the parking garage to retrieve their car.

Amber Heard claims Johnny Depp is stalling divorce

The 'Magic Mike XXL' star has accused her estranged husband from obstructing her request to end their marriage by insisting she signs a non-disclosure agreement before he submits documents about his financial status.

In documents obtained by TMZ, Heard's legal team claim Depp is deliberately trying to stop the divorce from going ahead quickly and quietly after he told the 30-year-old actress there would be a $100,000 fine for every time any financial information was leaked.

The pair are also reportedly squabbling on a date for Amber's deposition. His team has suggested two dates in August but Amber says she is unable to make it because she is filming 'Justice League Part One' in London. However, Amber says she has offered to appear in court on a Saturday but Johnny's team isn't keen.

Documents from Johnny's lawyer Laura Wasser claims Amber has already shared information about the couple to the media.

Meanwhile, Amber currently has a temporary restraining order against Johnny after she claimed he attacked her with an iPhone, leaving her with a bruised eye. She also alleges that "during the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive" to her.

The pair announced their divorce in May after just 15 months of marriage.

Ruby Lin attends wedding gown fitting

It’s four days to the next big celebrity wedding between Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo, and preparations are going full speed ahead. Their wedding invitations were revealed previously and more details of Ruby’s dress have been confirmed.

Ruby was spotted heading with her manager to Shiatzy Chen, a Taiwanese fashion house which is referred to as the Chanel of Taiwan. Founder Wang Chen Tsai Hsia is said to have personally designed Ruby’s dress – a pink dress made of silk and satin.

Tsai Hsia was seen greeting Ruby warmly after the latter stepped into the store, and were engaged in an animated discussion. Ruby’s assistant helped her with the fitting, and it was completed in about half an hour.  When asked about the dress, Tsai Hsia shared that she would love to see Ruby, who has the image of being the nation’s daughter, get married in a beautiful wedding dress.

Wallace Huo was not in attendance as he was in Japan for work. After the pair’s wedding shoot in Bali, he is said to have hopped on a plane on the same night to attend to his work commitments.

The couple has expressed their wish for the wedding to be kept a private affair and has reportedly rejected all offers of sponsorship. Their wedding is set to take place on July 31 in Bali.

Sharon Osbourne: Ozzy is a 'dirty dog' but I forgive him

The 63-year-old television personality - who split from her long-term husband in May after 33 years of marriage after claims he had been unfaithful - has revealed she has taken back the Black Sabbath rock musician because she "can't" live without him, although she thinks it will take her a while until she can trust her partner again.

Speaking to 'The Talk' about her relationship with the 67-year-old, she said: "[He is] just a romantic fool.

"I forgive. It's going take a long time to trust, but we've been together 36 years, 34 of marriage ... I just can't think of my life without him."

"[He is] a dirty dog ... He's going to pay big."

And the infidelity has left 'The Wizard' hitmaker "embarrassed" by his behaviour.

'The X Factor' judge - who is set to return to the panel this year after she quit the show in 2007 despite making a guest appearance during the judges houses round - explained: "I shouldn't speak for him. I know he wants to come on this show anyway and talk for himself to you all.

"He feels that he owes everyone here an apology, because he's put us all through it. He's very embarrassed and ashamed about his conduct."

Meanwhile Ozzy has revealed the two month break from his wife was just a slight glitch.

Speaking previously, he said: "We are married, all is good. We all lived happily ever after... I'd like to find the person who wrote that and poke them.

"It's just a bump in the road. Some days it's good, some days it's terrible, some days you just drift apart for a while. But you get back on the horse, you know.

"[It's] back on track again... You just, you make mistakes, and you learn by your mistakes, I think."

Huang Xiaoming on Marriage: “Learn to Apologize”

On July 19, Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明) attended a press conference in Shanghai for a local bridal photography company. Xiaoming, who is one of the investors of the company, talked about his experiences with investing and shared some of his methods at the news conference.

“The projects I invest in are done so with the mindset of a consumer” he said with a laugh. “I think my investments so far have been successfully. I hope that all my projects will help bring more convenience in the everyday lives of people.”

As the conference was about a bridal photography company, the topic of Xiaoming’s marriage to Angelababy was also brought up. He said, “Earlier I saw a clip online about a father getting his son to apologize for no reason. I sent the clip to Baby, who replied, ‘Isn’t this what you usually do?’  There, I’ve learned how important it is to apologize.” Xiaoming said learning how to say sorry and apologize are one of the key things in a lasting marriage.

The 38-year-old actor, who married Angelababy in 2015, also offered a peek into his married life with the Chinese actress. He shared, “Baby and I are always busy so we rarely meet. It’s common for her to stay out of town for a few months for a movie. When she’s done with her movie, it’ll be my turn to go out of town. I’ll try to work in the same city as her, or in Shanghai, which is her hometown.
If we can’t meet up, we’d keep in contact through messages or phone. We’ve created a ‘Family’ chat that has me, Baby, and my parents. We always share interesting things we’ve encountered during the day. All in all, use your heart in your marriage.”

Aaron Yan spotted out with Taiwanese actor lookalike

Taiwanese singer-actor Aaron Yan has been embroiled in rumours with Taiwanese actor and ex Lollipop F member Ah Ben for a number of years.

Last week, the 30-year-old was seen out on a late-night stroll with a man who looked very similar to Ah Ben. Aaron had first attended a promotional event and filming for his newest project earlier that day, before finally leaving the studio in the evening.

However, the singer-actor suddenly made an about-turn whilst in his car, turning around to pick up a man dressed in a black shirt near Zhongxiao Bridge in Taiwan.

After that, his car turned back towards Taipei, Taiwan, and made a few rounds around the area before parking his car.

From the pictures taken by the paparazzi at the scene, the man who was dressed in a black shirt bore a striking resemblance to Ah Ben, from his facial features to the colour of his hair. Ah Ben himself had also uploaded a picture of him wearing a black shirt the day before as well.

The duo then proceeded to a nearby park after alighting from the car, where they proceeded to take a stroll. After that, they returned to the car, where they chatted for around two hours. They finally drove off at around 10pm, with Aaron sending the male back to Sanchong.

However, when asked to comment, Aaron’s managing company revealed that the singer-actor had been filming in Xiamen, China recently, and had returned to Taiwan to catch up with his friends. Ah Ben’s ex-manager also commented that the man in the black shirt was not the 34-year-old.

Ruby Lin, Wallace Huo’s wedding invitations revealed

It’s full speed ahead for celebrity couple Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo as they prepare for their impending marriage at the end of the month.

On Sunday, pictures of the duo’s wedding invitations, which featured a ‘palm leaf concept’, was posted online. The invitations were enclosed in a pastel pink envelope, Ruby’s favourite colour, with a logo made up of their initials. A quote written on the invitation also pays homage to the couple’s many years of friendship, with “10 years of friendship [which] evolved into love”.

The wedding will have a dress code as well, with all guests required to wear either “white or beige” coloured formal wear.

The lovebirds was also spotted at a hotel in Bali, Indonesia recently taking wedding photos. The netizen who uploaded some pictures of the shoot reported that Wallace was dressed in a black tuxedo, while Ruby was dressed in a dress with a bridal veil on her head. Ruby was also said to have been holding on to Wallace’s hand, and the coupled looked the very picture of bliss.

Ruby and Wallace were said to have blocked off a large portion of the hotel for their shoot, in an attempt to keep the pictures from leaking out to the public.

However, despite all their measures, a picture of their rumoured bridesmaid, Taiwanese actress-model Tiffany Hsu was uploaded online. When asked to comment, the 31-year-old said, “We’re only here to support them [Ruby and Wallace]. However, I wouldn’t be sharing more about the details of their wedding. I hope for everyone to congratulate the couple happily, just like me.”

Ruby and Wallace are set to tie the knot in Bali, Indonesia with celebrity friends like Hu Ge and Nicky Wu confirming their attendance as of now. Fellow celeb pal Fan Bingbing has also shared that she’s helping Ruby to plan for her big day as well.

Yvonne Lim, Alex Tien expecting their second child

Yvonne Lim and Alex Tien’s little boy Alex Junior - fondly known as AJ - is going to be a big brother.

Today (July 25), it was revealed that the local actress, who is currently based in Taiwan with her family, has just passed her first trimester of pregnancy and is due to give birth to her second child in January next year.

In a photo shared by her artiste management agency, Yvonne is seen showing off a pronounced baby bump underneath a white tank top, as her husband holds their son and a sign that proudly proclaims “Baby No. 2!”

When asked if she plans to deliver the child in Singapore or Taiwan, the 39-year-old said that she is not sure yet, but already has confinement centres in both countries on standby. She added that this was an unexpected pregnancy, and that she has yet to know the sex of the baby. However, she hopes for a little girl so that her family will have the "perfect" combination of a son and a daughter.

Little AJ is clearly excited to have a sibling. According to Yvonne, the one-and-a-half-year-old loves to kiss her swollen tummy, and even told her that he wants an older sister (to which she laughed and explained that only having a younger sister is possible).

Hubby Alex, 36, is also thrilled to be a dad-of-two. In fact, he has already begun mentioning baby no. 3 - much to Yvonne's dismay, who joked about wanting to slap him when he said that, as she would want to wait at least a few years after their second one is born.

Upon hearing the happy news, the only local artiste Yvonne informed was Hong Hui Fang. "Every time Hui Fang tells me to quickly have a child, it happens!" she said. "If anyone wishes to have children, just ask her for her blessing. (laughs)"

Yvonne and Alex, formerly of Taiwanese boy band B.A.D, wed in September 2014 and welcomed AJ into the world in December that same year. Since tying the knot and becoming a mother, Yvonne has taken a break from TV screens, with her last project being 2014’s Blessings.

Elsewhere during the event, Eddie's co-star Ezra Miller spoke of his delight at joining J.K. Rowling's magical universe.

He quipped: "It's like getting your Hogwarts sweater way late in the game, but you're still getting it."
The movie features the first major character in the 'Harry Potter' world not to have magical powers, Dan Fogler's Jacob, but the actor insisted he doesn't mind.

He quipped: "You know, Han Solo wasn't a Jedi."

While the event saw a new trailer for the film air for the first time, plot details are being kept under wraps and when Dan almost gave away a small clue, his co-star Colin Farrell joked it meant he'd be in trouble.

He quipped: "There's going to be a hole that opens up and he'll drop in."

Dai Xiangyu, Chen Zihan hit by rumours of a third party

Chinese actor Dai Xiangyu announced his surprise marriage to Chinese actress Chen Zihan earlier this year on Weibo.

Recently, the couple were hit by allegations that Xiangyu had been married to Chinese actress Li Yixuan for 10 year prior to meeting Zihan, and that Zihan was the third party in his marriage.

When asked to comment on the matter, Yixuan said, “I do not wish to get involved in this matter. I don’t wish to be implicated and dragged into matters concerning these people anymore.” Her weary tone further fanned the fires, causing the rumours to spread even more.

Last Thursday, Xiangyu took to his Weibo to clarify the rumours. The actor wrote that he had always lived a peaceful and quiet life together with Zihan, and stressed that there was “no third party or fourth party” in their relationship.

“We’re just a simple couple, loving freely. This is the first marriage for both of us,” the 31-year-old wrote on his Weibo.

Zihan also reposted his post shortly after, adding, “With you around, [I feel] very blessed. A simple life, [let’s] work hard! Don’t worry, we’re both very good. Thank you everyone,” and a picture of them holding hands.

While some netizens did comment on their post, writing that the couple had not addressed how Yixuan was related to them, majority of the commenters showed their approval for the couple, praising them for clearing up the matter quickly.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney's careers to blame for split

The couple - who got engaged in February 2015 - recently called time on their five-year romance and insiders believe their conflicting schedules caused the break-up.

A source told PEOPLE: "Their work kept them apart a lot. 'Chicago Fire' keeps him in Chicago and her work is almost always elsewhere."

The pair haven't been pictured together recently and she hasn't shared a picture of him on her social media accounts for over a month.

Last week, on Taylor's 35th birthday, Gaga, 30, was seen without her engagement ring while she was out and about in Malibu.

Taylor and Gaga met on the set of her 'You and I' video and she previously revealed how they kept their long-distance romance alive.

She said: "We don't have any rules about calling each other at certain times ... We'll go days at a time without talking and then we'll talk every day. He's on his journey and I'm on mine and we're gypsies. And then when we're together, we're really in love and that's it."

And she explained that her mother Cindy was in charge of planning the nuptials.

She said: "I think if I wouldn't let my mom do this with all of us and my family - I think if I would've denied the women of my life the planning of the wedding - they would probably kill me. I have all the help in the world in a way!"

The 'Born This Way' hitmaker was adamant her wedding to actor Taylor was going to be low-key.
She added: "We are not planning anything that is worth writing about."

Chow Yun-fat Takes a Break from Acting: “I Want to Have Fun”

Legendary Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat (周潤發) has announced that he will be taking a hiatus from acting this year. He announced to the Hong Kong media that he won’t be accepting any more film offers for the remainder of the year, adding that he plans to take a long winter break to “have fun.”

Chow Yun-fat returned to the Hong Kong film industry in 2013 after spending the last three decades years doing films for Mainland China and Hollywood. His HK comeback was the 2014 comedy film From Vegas to Macau (賭城風雲), produced by Wong Jing (王晶).

The 61-year-old’s comeback was a huge success, and From Vegas to Macau spawned two more sequels. Chow Yun-fat’s impact never stopped, and his latest film, the crime thriller Cold War 2 <寒戰II>, broke Hong Kong box office records when it was released in the region two weeks ago. The movie, a continuation of the 2012 blockbuster hit, broke Stephen Chow’s (周星馳) Kung Fu Hustle <功夫> record as the highest-grossing Hong Kong film in a single day.

But despite all his recent box office success, the legendary actor has announced that it’s time for him to slow down. He told the Hong Kong media, “It’s not because I don’t want to do it. I was offered many scripts, and if I really like them, I’ll be ready to film next year—that is if [the studios] still want me for the roles! I’m not saying that I’m quitting. It’s just that I want to meet my standards this year. I want to be healthier. I’ve trained very hard for the summer and I think I need to stop and have some fun in the winter. I want to spend the remaining months traveling around Hong Kong!”

Chow Yun-fat enjoys a modest lifestyle, but due to his busy filming schedules, he’s never had the time to settle down to take a relaxing trip around his home, Hong Kong. He added, “Hong Kong actually looks very beautiful during the fall and winter times! It’s probably not as pretty as Japan’s red leaves, but Hong Kong’s orange leaves are great too. We can enjoy this scenery without having to travel on a plane. It’s just one car ride away. Hong Kong’s country parks are all within the city. The car ride won’t even last 45 minutes. It’s probably as close as being next to your house. So convenient! I cherish the cold seasons here. That’s why I wouldn’t want to go anywhere. I want to stay in Hong Kong!”

The Cold War 2 stressed again that health is everything and that he must take the hiatus to gain back what he has used up.

“If you borrow something, you must return it. That’s why we have to be very careful with our health. I exercise everyday—it’s not much, just walk for half an hour, jog for half an hour. Do some muscle training. I don’t want to walk with crutches in the future!”

“Line Walker – The Movie”: Foon-hei Gor Back from the Dead?

Promotions are well underway for the movie follow-up of TVB’s 2014 hit drama Line Walker <使徒行者>, which starred Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Raymond Lam (林峯), and Benz Hui (許紹雄). The series is currently rerunning on TVB Jade every midnight.

Directed by Jazz Boon (文偉鴻), Line Walker: The Movie picks up where the show ended, and follows Charmaine Sheh’s Ting Jeh, who goes back in the shadows to search for another missing undercover. The movie also introduces Q Sir (Francis Ng 吳鎮宇), Ting Jeh’s handler; Lam (Nick Cheung 張家輝), an intelligent multinational drug dealer; and Young Master (Louis Koo 古天樂), a member of Lam’s drug ring.

Foon-hei Gor, popularly portrayed by Benz Hui, will also be returning despite having died in the original series. But is Foon-hei Gor actually dead or still alive?

At a television program to promote their upcoming film, Benz dropped the shocking spoiler that his role actually didn’t die in the original series. He said, “The movie will talk about why I didn’t die. Francis saved me. I didn’t die, but I will kill Ting (Charmaine). To save her I had to kill her. If you want to know why, watch the movie!”

The movie is extremely action packed, and Charmaine said she won’t be able to doing anything too extreme for a while. One of the motorcycle stunts she did for the film aggravated an old injury that involved a slipped disc. Her doctor recommended her to take more rest so she would not put further pressure on the disc.

Charmaine explained, “The slipped disc could also cause my hands to go numb. I’ve decided to take an extended period of rest after I finish promoting the movie. I wasn’t expecting to have so many action scenes. I usually don’t play such action-packed roles in dramas.”

Charmaine and Benz revealed that they will spend the next few weeks doing a promotional tour in Mainland China, and will visit over ten cities. Line Walker: The Movie will be released in Hong Kong and Mainland China on August 11, 2016.

Yesterday, Peter, who recently wrapped up filming for his latest project, was spotted out in public with his family. The 40-year-old first brought his parents and Peggy out for dinner at a mala restaurant, before heading to a bridal shop with Peggy.

Peter then browsed through the dresses on display, while Peggy tried on wedding gowns and chatted to the staff in the VIP area, who patiently explained and recommended dresses for the bride-to-be.

Peter had to leave after around 10 minutes due to his schedule, while Peggy remained in the shop with her friends. She also took great care to make sure that her wedding dress was not seen by the paparazzi after discovering them outside the shop, requesting for the staff to draw the curtains around the VIP area.

The couple are still in the midst of preparing their wedding favours and rings and they are said to have engaged a designer to rush out their wedding outfits. Additionally, Peter mentioned in an earlier interview that they will decide on their honeymoon location after the wedding.
