4 things that brought A Little Happiness at Hebe Tien’s S’pore gig

Anyone who has ever been to an S.H.E showcase would be no stranger to their flamboyant getups. While Hebe’s wardrobe choices last night were not as over-the-top, there was just the right amount of sartorial spectacle to keep things interesting. At the very start of the concert, she made her entrance in a dramatic outfit that made her blend right into the props around her, which were built to resemble rocky mountaintops.

Her next ensemble would have been just another ordinary silver dress if not for the enormous cloak billowing intensely behind her as she delved into a hard rock version of ‘LOVE’. Headpieces, such as a fluffy faux fringe and a sparkling crown that reminded us of a less menacing version of Disney villain Maleficent’s iconic horns, also made a statement.

We’d also like to make a special shout-out to the Hebe-lookalike masks that made a recurring appearance throughout the concert. While a little creepy at first, they soon proved to be a source of amusement when the male musicians put them on. “You don’t look very happy,” Hebe observed when a guitarist, his real expression hidden behind his stoic disguise, claimed that he was enjoying himself so far. “I guess that’s just how my face is. (Shrugs)”
