This will be the Korean actor’s first official visit to Singapore
The
annual Star Awards are around the corner and voting for the glitzy
event is in full swing, with stars neck-to-neck in the polls. As with
previous years, foreign celebrities will add an extra dash of star power
to the ceremony, with last year’s guest list including Karen Mok, Ella
Chen (from S.H.E.), Ekin Cheng, Calvin Chen, Guo Shu Yao, Grasshoppers
(Cao Meng), Daisy Fong (Fang Xin), Plungon (Hao Jiao Xiang Qi), Ivana
Wong, Jerry Lamb, SaSa, Zeng Guo Cheng, Chung Hsin Ling and Choi
Hao-ran.
This year, we will be welcoming Korean actor Park Hae Jin as a presenter for the Star Awards Show 1 (Apr 17). Korean news outlet Sports Chosun made the announcement about his visit earlier today (Mar 15), which makes him the first of the plethora of overseas guests who has been confirmed to attend the show.
The 32-year-old recently starred in popular drama Cheese in the Trap, of which his co-stars Lee Sung Kyung and Seo Kang Joon have made their respective stops on our sunny shores earlier this year.
The visit will be his first official appearance in Singapore and he will be conducting interviews with the media in addition to holding a public event in order to meet more of his fans. More details, including the venue and timing of the public event will be announced at a later date.
The actor is slated to hold a fan meeting in Seoul in commemoration of his 10th debut anniversary on April 23, following which he has announced his intention of going on an Asian tour to greet his fans from abroad.
