ELF, prepare your hearts. Following fellow members Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon’s respective enlistments last year, Ryeowook will be the next one to enlist for his mandatory military service stint.

His label, S.M. Entertainment, confirmed today (March 17) that he will be entering the service on June 14 as an active duty soldier. They continued that further details will not be shared as the singer has expressed his wish to enlist without fanfare.

Currently, Shindong and Sungmin are also serving their respective stints and are slated to be discharged from their duties in December this year. After Ryeowook’s enlistment, the only remaining member who has yet to serve will be the group’s maknae (youngest member) Kyuhyun.

Ryeowook recently made his solo debut with the album The Little Prince this January in addition to his solo concert series, Ever Lasting Star in February.

He is expected to serve in the army for 21 months and return to the group in March 2018.
